UPS
UPS is regarded as the biggest postal service headquartered in Atlanta, United States of American. It is nicknamed the "Big Brown", referring to the official colour the company use for its vehicles and suit its employees.
UPS was founded in 1907 by Jim Casey. Casey borrowed $100 from his friend and implemented his idea of creating a courier services. The company was launched under the name of American Messenger Company. In 1913, Jim Casey and Evert McCabe merged their two companies under the name Merchants Parcel Delivery. Then later in 1919, the merger expanded its operations over Seattle and changed its name to United Parcel Service.
UPS possess airline called UPS Airlines, which is mostly based in Louisville in Kentucky. Its airline is considered to be the 8th largest in the world. Over the years, UPS has boosted its capability to deliver through roads and air to a considerable extent. In 2012, its fleet of aircraft further grew, as it possessed 230 as its own and 326 on a lease.
DHL is considered to be biggest competitor of UPS.

FedEx is a well-known courier company, specializing in international freight. FedEx is an acronym of the entity’s original name, Federal Express.
FedEx was founded in 1971 by Frederick W. Smith. The company started its operations within the United States on limited budget and reach. Originally an airline business, FedEx started its initial courier operations from its own airlines, by utilizing a section of the aircraft for delivery. FedEX has not grown into a varied entity, having offices in almost every country of the world. The company is considered to be king of skies as it has the largest fleet of airbuses.
