How to Remove a Mole at Home

Moles are growths/small patches on the skin that are usually tan, black or brown in color. Moles are sometimes called as the “Beauty Marks,” as they are neither harmful nor cancerous. But, they are seen as unattractive, particularly if they are on the face or other prominent positions of your body.

Moles are usually darker than rest of the skin color and, therefore, can lead to low self-esteem and self consciousness. Now if you are planning to banish an unwanted mole, there are many useful ways through which it can be removed. You might be aware of many traditional laser therapies or surgeries. They are not only expensive, but painful, uncomfortable and dangerous, which can have many negative side effects.

You might not have known this, but you can even take matters into your own hands, and use some easily available home remedies to remove a mole at home. They are effective, proven, harmless and natural ways.

    Apply Apple Cider Vinegar

    Add some apple cider vinegar to a cotton ball and apply it to unwanted mole. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes or until air dry. Rinse off the vinegar with tap or cool water.

    Apply Garlic

    Peel a clove of garlic and crush it, using mortar and pestle. Once mashed well, extract its juice into a small bowl. Dip a cotton ball or tip of the finger into the garlic juice and apply it to the mole. Leave it for few hours before rinsing off with lukewarm water. Apply garlic juice every day until the mole vanishes.

    Apply Iodine

    Make a thick and smooth iodine paste. Coat the mole with this paste and leave it for at least 15 minutes or until dry.  Sponge down with clean water and pat dry, using tissue paper. Apply iodine paste three times per day until you get rid of mole.

    Apply Honey

    Apply a thin layer of pure honey to the mole and cover it with a gauze or band-aid. Rinse off the honey after half an hour.  Repeat it twice a day until the mole fades away.

    Apply Castor Oil

    Dip a clean towel or wash cloth into castor oil and apply it to your mole. Let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water. Repeat this remedy two to three times per day.

    Apply Cauliflower

    Place few heads of cauliflower in a jug or electric blender and mix them until smooth and pulpy. Extract the juice of the cauliflower puree and rub it against the unwanted mole, using your finger pad.  Leave it for 4 to 5 hours and rinse off. Repeat this remedy once a day. Continue its application until you get the desired results.

    Apply Baking Soda and Caster Oil

    In a small bowl, mix some baking soda and castor oil. Continue mixing until it forms a rich paste. Apply a thick layer of the mixture to the mole, cover it with gauze and leave it overnight. Rinse the paste off early in the next morning. Apply this mixture every day until you do away with a mole.
