How to Fertilize Thyme Plants
Thyme is the type of a plant that does not need fertilizer too often, unless quality of the soil is very poor and continues to remain poor as the plant grows. The plant is relatively difficult to grow from seeds, and you can either purchase it as a separate plant from nursery or use a transplant of it. In any case, do not add fertilizer to the plant, until it needs. In that case even, just add fertilizer to the plant only once a month, use very light quantity of the fertilizer. Mulching the plant just before the fertilizer or soon after it is generally recommended.

Thyme plant does not need fertilizer very often as fertilizer can burn its roots, since it is very sensitive. However, if you see that the quality of the soil is very poor you can add the fertilizer to the plant.
