The snail’s eye photography is type of nature photography that captures the objects from a very close distance. The resulting images look like they are the view from a snail. These types of images have become quite popular in recent times and require a good focus lens also. There are certain guidelines before you take a snail’s eye photograph. The macro function should be turned on first. The positioning of the camera is extremely important and the camera should also be slightly tilted while you capture the image. Switch the macro function on
First of all, you must switch on the macro function on the camera. This function can be found on all digital cameras and is pretty easy. If you are unable to find the button, refer to the camera instructions for further information. It is usually a button that has the picture of a flower on it. -

Position your camera
The next thing you need to do is to position the camera. This is probably the most important thing before taking a picture. You must position your camera at a very short distance from the object. The distance should not be more than three inches between the camera and the object you want to capture. The second important aspect of positioning the camera is to place it low on the ground so that no part of the ground can be visible in the picture. -

Tilt your camera
You must tilt the camera slightly in the upward direction so that a perfect snail’s eye view photograph can be taken. Make sure you position the camera in such a way that it looks like a view from the snail’s eye. -

Take natural images
The snail’s view pictures are generally nature shots. So try to take as many shots as you can of the natural view nearby and make sure you place the object close while taking the picture. -
