Difference between HTC First and HTC One X

Technology, particularly the mobile technology, is an amazing field. Almost every day, a new product or feature hits the headlines. And folks start buying new items, considering older ones of no use. The invention of smartphones has totally changed the scenario. The mobile market has become very competitive, and the manufacturing companies release new products regularly.

Gone are the days when a mobile company used to launch a new model after a year. These days, the people see a new model in the mobile shops almost every month. HTC has captured a handy part of the mobile market by releasing some very nice smartphones.

The company launches new devices so quickly that it often becomes difficult to differentiate between the previous ones. As far as HTC One X and HTC First are concerned, there is a long list of differences.

HTC One X was released in May 2012, while HTC First’s launching date is April 2013. The latter’s dimensions are 126 x 65 x 8.9 mm, and its weight is only 123.9 grams. HTC One X is 130 grams of weight, whereas its dimensions are 134.4 x 69.9 x 8.9 mm.

HTC One X’s size is 4.7 inches, while the other HTC device is 0.4 inches smaller in size. HTC One X is available in two models; 16 GBs and 32 GBs. On the other hand, HTC First is available in only one 16GB model. As far as the camera is concerned, both devices are miles apart. HTC First has a five megapixel camera, whereas HTC One X’s back camera is of 08 MPs.

    HTC One X

    HTC has launched many smartphones, but this device is certainly one of its best. Its operating system is Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but the user has the freedom to upgrade it to the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

    It is available in two colours, gray and white. The device not only has the stereo FM radio with RDS, but also supports many important sensors, such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

    HTC First

    With amazing features of geo-tagging, touch focus, and face detection, it is indeed a very good mobile device. It has a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor, and even supports HTML5 browsing.

    The device is available in several colours, such as Black, Black/White, Black/Blue, and Black/Red. Among its other wonderful features are: active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, SNS integration, document viewer, and predictive text input.
