How to Make a Tomate Cocktail

Many cocktail lovers might confuse Tomate cocktail with Tomato cocktail because the spellings seem quite similar. But both drinks are different from each other in their respective ways. This drink is prepared to a huge extent due to its massive amount of demand in the bars. However, it is not limited to clubs and bars and people in formal parties and casual gathering also prefer having this beverage as a welcome drink for their guests. Its taste and distinctive selection of ingredients are not the only reasons why people prefer having it on special occasions, but this classic drink is easy to prepare. Three ingredients are used in preparing this amazing drink; absinthe, grenadine and still water. Grenadine works as a base for many cocktails and it acquired fame among beverages after being used  in tequila. Grenadine is made up of pomegranate, sugar and plain water. Absinthe is a highly alcoholic drink and possesses a rich history. It is made-up of culinary herbs and has a refreshing taste. The combination of these three ingredients produces an amazing taste of Tomate Cocktail.

Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Serving Size: 1 serving
Utensils Required: 1 ball glass, knife, cocktail shaker
Ingredients:

– 3 shots absinthe
– ½ shot grenadine
– Chilled still water
– Ice cubes according to your requirement
– 1 lime for garnishing

Instructions

    Take a cocktail shaker and add all the ingredients in it one by one.

    Close the shaker properly and shake it well until the ingredients are mixed with each other.

    Take a nice ball glass and pour the prepared drink in it.

    With the help of a cocktail stirrer, stir the drink once.

    Take a lemon and wash it properly.

    Cut this slices of the lemon. With the help of a pointed knife, make a small slit in the slice and then garnish the glass with it.
