10 Things We Know About Heaven
Although none of us are aware of what will happen in life after death, yet the concept of heaven and hell is found in almost every religion. People are always taught that good deeds will help them earn paradise whereas things will be different, if they don’t obey the orders of the Creator of this universe.
There are numerous religious books and scriptures, where you can get an idea about what will be there in heaven. However, there are various contradictions in most of these writings, so we cannot say which one is right. In the article references have been drawn from the holy book of the Muslims, Koran, which only has one version unlike other religious books.

Gardens
By doing good deeds, we are promised to be bestowed with beautiful gardens in heaven. There are various references in the Koran about this and one of them is, “So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.” 5:85

Eternal life
Another thing promised in the Koran is eternal life. Those who believe in the oneness of God will always live in heaven and there will be no harm done to them whatsoever.
“But those who believed and did righteous deeds - We charge no soul except [within] its capacity. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.” 7:42

Forgiveness and noble provision
For the believers, God promises the following,
“Those are the believers, truly. For them are degrees [of high position] with their Lord and forgiveness and noble provision.” 8:4

Peace
One thing we keep searching in this life is peace, but never get it. However, God promises the following for those who enter heaven,
“And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, Peace!” 14:23

No fatigue
There will be no fatigue for the ones who perform good deeds.
“No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.” 15:48

Purified hearts
Our hearts will be purified when we enter heaven.
“And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.” 15:47

Springs
Not only will we get beautiful gardens in heaven, but God promises that there will be springs too.
“Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.” 15:45

Gold, pearls and silk
God also promises the following in the Koran,
“They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.” 35:33

Joyful occupation
According to the Koran,
“Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation.” 36:55

Whatever you wish
Although there are numerous other references in the Koran regarding heaven, yet this verse sums everything up, “For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish].” 36:57
