How to Make a Paloma Cocktail at Home
Do you need a refreshing tequila cocktail in order to quench your thirst of the dog days of summer or at the end of a tiring day? Then the Paloma Cocktail is definitely at the top of the list of famous tequila cocktails as it is an amazing fruity drink with a perfect fizz. This tequila-based cocktail is all time favorite drink in Mexico. It is prepared with tequila Blanco, fresh grapefruit soda, and lime juice.
The Paloma Cocktail is traditionally served in a rimmed cocktail glass. However, you can garnish the glass with any of the fruit wedge if you do not have time to rim the glass.

Utensils: Cocktail Glass, Stirrer
Ingredients:
– (2 oz) Blanco tequila
– (6 oz) fresh grapefruit soda
– (1/2 oz) lime juice
– Salt or sugar for rimming or lemon wedges for garnishing – optional
– Juice of half a lime for rimming -optional
– Ice cubes or Cracked ice
– Lime wedges

First of all, place some salt in a plate in order to rim the glass.

Now, take a lime or lemon and cut it into two equal halves. Pick one of the lemon slices, remove its seeds and squeeze its juice into a small mixing bowl.

Pick up a Collins glass or any other cocktail glass and dip its rim into the fresh lemon juice.

Again dip the rim of the glass into the salt or sugar.

Now, place some ice cubes in the rimmed cocktail glass.

Pour in 2 oz of Blanco tequila, and 1/2 oz of lime juice.
Note: You can replace the Blanco tequila with the same quantity of Reposado tequila. -

Top both of the ingredients with 6 oz of fresh grapefruit soda and stir gently for few seconds to mix the liquors.

Float some lime slices into the Paloma Cocktail and serve.
