Difference between Mexican and Spanish
As Mexicans speak Spanish, it is often misunderstood that Mexicans and Spanish are the same. However, there are major differences in the culture, food and lifestyle of the two people which makes them different.
Mexicans live in Mexico, which is a country in North America. On the other hand, Spanish are the people who speak the Spanish language and live in Spain, which is a country in Europe. Mexicans’ ancestors include people from the Spanish colonies that ruled the region centuries ago.
Mexicans are usually dark skinned whereas Spanish are European whites. People from both countries speak the Spanish language but there is a difference in the accents of the two. People from both countries speak the same language but with different dialects and rhythm.
The Spanish that Mexicans speak has some English words inserted which make it easier to use on a daily basis. On the other hand, Spanish spoken in Spain is without any configuration and translation as it is the most authentic form in the world. Many countries speak Spanish including the likes of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay etc.
