    Minar-e-Pakistan (Tower of Pakistan)

    Built in the 1960s, this tower was constructed to commemorate the Lahore Resolution, which demanded the division of India. This is a beautiful place to visit and will not cost you much.

    Mohenjo-daro

    One of the oldest civilizations in the world, Mohenjo-daro, is located in the Southern part of Pakistan. You should definitely pay a visit there and go to the museum located at the site in order to get an insight into the history.

    Rohtas fort

    Another historical place located near Jehlum in Pakistan, the Rohtas fort is a must see. It was built by Indian emperor Sher Shah Suri, who ruled for five years from 1540 to 1545. It was basically built to defend against the armies of the enemy and has got 12 gates.

    Faisal mosque

    This is the largest mosque in Pakistan, situated in the capital city Islamabad. It was completed 1986 and was designed by famous Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay. It has a covered area of 54000 square feet and can accommodate a large amount of worshipers.

    This beautiful structure was built during the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar and has got a couple of gates. There are some amazing sites within the fort such as the Sheesh Mahal and the tourists definitely visit there, whenever they come to Lahore.
