How to Make the Best Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine Alfredo is an incredibly rich and creamy dish. You might be aware of countless recipes, but this Best Fettuccine Alfredo is simple yet spectacularly filling. It is a white cream-based sauce that is prepared by reducing the ingredients to a velvety consistency.

Ingredients:
Fresh fettuccine: 18 ounces
Heavy cream: 2 ½ cups
Fresh lemon juice: ½ cup
Unsalted butter: 12 tablespoons
Grated Parmesan cheese: 2 cups
Grated lemon zest: 2 teaspoons
Grated nutmeg: 2 to 3 pinches
Salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste

    Wash your hands first and then all the ingredients that you will be using to prepare this delicious and tasty recipe. Also, take some time to clean the work area and also the utensils that you will be using in the kitchen. Bring a pot of water to simmer and add sprinkle with some salt.

    Now add 18 ounces of fresh fettuccine (pasta) to the boiling salty water and let it simmer. Continue cooking for around five minutes or until the pasta is tender but slightly firm, stirring time to time.
