Read owner’s manual and check for instructions on how you can change different modes, and other preferences. If you feel that the resolution of the pictures that you take is really low, then you should check the maximum pixel capability of your digital camera.
In digital cameras, the resolution is describe by megapixels. Cameras with higher megapixel lens can take better pictures compared to those with low resolution lens. Check for camera resolution settings and set to low. Take a snap and after that you can change the resolution to high. Again take a snap and see the difference for yourself. -

If you feel that the quality of the picture is being compromised due to low light present when you take pictures, then you can change the camera’s ISO settings.
Usually, the ISO settings are set to low, in order to take high quality images in normal light. If you want to take pictures in low light scenarios, then you can increase the ISO level. However, do not change it to very high, as this will also disturb the overall quality of the image. -

If you are taking a picture of a scenery, then you can set the camera to the respective mode, and same for different other scenes.
