Difference Between Google Nexus 10 and Apple Ipad 3 New Ipad
Apple has been ruling the tablet market for many years. But the company is under serious pressure after the launch of Google Nexus 10. Made by Samsung, Google’s Nexus 10 has joined the party as the biggest challenger to Apple’s iPad.
Unlike Nexus 7, the new Google device is posing direct threat to Apple. Although Samsung is unlikely to hurl iPad out of the market, it may emerge as the second heavyweight device.
The first major difference between Google Nexus 10 and Apple Ipad 3 New Ipad is price. It is no surprise that the Samsung device is way cheaper. The two devices are not much different in weight and measurement. Interestingly, Google Nexus is nearly 50 grams lighter than iPad, which is 652 grams in weight.
Both tablets offer large capacitive screens. iPad’s screen is 9.7 inches, while Google Nexus is marginally bigger at 10.1 inches. The Apple device seems to have better display with Retina quality resolution.
Sticking to the basics, Apple has released the tablet in three different storage capacities; 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. And one cannot expand the memory, because Apple never offers a card slot. Samsung, on the other hand, has launched the tab in two models; 16GB and 32GB. And interestingly, this device also does not offer a microSD slot.
Both devices have a 5MP rear camera, but there is difference between their front-facing cameras. Google Nexus’ 1.9MP front camera is a little better than iPad’s 1.2MP camera.
Apple continues to update its own operating system, and iPad has the latest version. Google Nexus runs Android, and has the latest version – 4.2 Jelly Bean. Another difference is between their batteries. iPad uses a 42.5Wh rated battery compared to Nexus 10’s 33.3Wh battery.
