Stand with your feet well grounded and shoulder wide apart. Step your left foot forward if you are right handed. Take the bat with both hands by 5 cm above the bottom of the handle. If you are right handed, your right hand should be placed above the left for left-hand position otherwise. Raise the bat above the head.
