How to Use a Dynamic Root Disk for Disaster Recovery
Dynamic Root Disk is a great software program that allows you to restore your hard disk, especially when it stops responding to your requests completely. The program uses clone images to restore your disk to a previous date when you created a complete backup of all your data.
The software is free to use and can be really useful for disaster recovery. You just have to create a backup clone image for your data and use it later when your hard disk crashes.
You can easily recover your data using the Dynamic Root Disk, provided that you know the right process.

First of all, you need to download Dynamic Root Disk software program and install it in your computer. You can do that by searching it on Google and download it for free.

Install the program, same as you install any other program in your computer. Once the installation is complete, open the "Start" menu, click "All Programs" list and then open the "Dynamic Root Disk" program.

In the program window, you will have to click the “Clone” button, which will allow you to create a clone for your hard drive.

Connect an external hard drive with your computer and provide its path when the program asks for the location, where you want to save the clone file. Click the “Save” button, and then click the “Start” button, to start saving all the data in your hard disk into a clone image file.

Once the clone image is created, you can disconnect your external hard drive from your computer and keep it in a safe place.

In the event of disaster, you can just run the Dynamic Root Disk software program and clock the “Restore” button.
You will then be required to provide the location for the clone image which you want to use for the recovery process.
For that purpose, you will have to connect the same external hard drive that you used to create the backup, with your computer. -

Specify the location and click the “OK” button. The process will take some time and your hard disk will be restored to the same position as it was when you created the clone image.
