A Review of the Trading Post Pressure Washing & Window Cleaning Company in Houston, Texas
Kenny Fletcher, the owner of The Trading Post, was very professional, courteous and reliable – traits I sadly do not see in the contractor industry nowadays. I phoned The Trading Post on a Tuesday and by Thursday, the job was complete. Kenny was originally supposed to give me an estimate on Thursday but being a pro-active business man, he took advantage of being in my neighborhood (for another job) on Wednesday and stopped by to provide me with the estimate.
Not only was his estimate at least $100 less than his competitors’ price, but he also made sure he did whatever it took to get the job done the very next day. Kenny Fletcher returned every phone call, left specific details on my answering machine, and phoned me the day of the job to let me know what time he would arrive. His communication skills were top notch.
The Trading Post originally told me they would have to do the job from inside the house because they did not think there was enough room between our house and the neighbor’s fence to put up a ladder safely; however, once Kenny saw our yard – which is only accessible through our secret gate – he changed his mind because it was obvious that there was plenty of room for the window cleaning to be done from the exterior.
Kenny and his son, Michael, were friendly and thorough; and in only 45 minutes – I swear – they cleaned every single window. We have double hung windows (they open by sliding the bottom half of the window up or sliding the top half down) so it was really like cleaning 58 windows. I do not know how they did the job so quickly but I was flabbergasted when they rang the doorbell after less than an hour to inform me that they finished the job. When I obtained estimates from the other window cleaners, they told me it would take anywhere from two-six hours. How could people in the same industry do things so differently?
I had a quick look at the windows that I knew were the dirtiest, and low-and-behold, they were clean. I even asked Kenny about pressure washing my stairs and porch, but he told me they did not need to be pressure washed just yet and to call him in a few years when they did. An honest contractor? That sounds like an oxymoron to me. Kenny did not understand why the other window cleaners charge so much for such a simple job; I wondered the same thing myself. I am just glad I found the best window cleaners in the Houston area.
The Trading Post really is too good to be true, but they are indeed really that amazing. Low cost, friendly, efficient, speedy, reliable service – what more could you ask for? It makes all of the hassle that I went through with the other window cleaners worth it.
If you need pressure washing or window cleaning and live in the Houston, Texas area then I highly recommend The Trading Post. Kenny Fletcher provides free estimates so why not give him a call at: 713-726-1963. FYI, The Trading Post does not have a web site; in fact, most of their business is accumulated through word-of-mouth referrals, and repeat customers.
