There are 22 State Parks in Rhode Island offering everything from horseback riding to snowmobiling . Like camping? Many of the parks have great camp grounds. Since Rhode Island has so many miles of coast line, three are many state beaches.
Bristol County is the smallest county in Rhode Island and is located on beautiful Mount Hope and Narraganset bays, and therefore it is one of the best places for a boating vacation.
Come to Kent County and the Stepping Stone Ranch if you like horseback riding. Kent also give you a choice of 4 golf courses. Kent County is also home to The Varnum Memorial Armory where you can see military artifacts going back to the 16th century.
In June Newport is host to the Newport International Film Festival. If music is what you enjoy, plan your visit for August and see the Newport Folk Festival.
