A Watering Can Gives You Versatility and Control in Cleaning

When cleaning your sinks or tub with cleaners such as bleach or “Comet,” you can get splashed with the solution when you turn on the water. This can damage your clothes, rugs and other nearby items if they get hit. Even your skin, eyes, nose, mouth and hair isn’t safe from a cleaning solution bombardment. There are things you can do to protect against the splash of cleaning solutions such as wearing gloves, a mask and covering items in a plastic shield. You might try turning the water down to a mere dribble only to find that it is taking forever to get one simple task done. Or you can go ahead and clean with confidence that you have control over the magnitude of a splash. You can even have the versatility of being able to reach those difficult places that need to be sprayed to wash away the cleaners.

The answer to splash control is a watering can.

Begin by carrying on as normal in your cleaning routine then when you need to wash the cleaner away fill the watering can with water. Pour the water over the cleaning solution until the solution is gone. Adjust the height of the spout if necessary by holding the can closer or higher to the sink or tub. The closer that the spout is to the sink or tub, the less likely it is for a big splash. The further away the spout is may lead to a big splash. If you need more water simply fill the can.

A watering can is very handy to rinse clean sinks or tubs where it would otherwise raise a slight problem such as the dividing line between a sink. If you were to move the water faucet over the line and turn the water on, it has a higher tendency to splash because water would be bouncing off the heightened line. How about the back of a tub, which might be reached by closing the plug in the tub and filling the tub with water or by spraying the shower hose or aiming the shower head in the direction to rinse?

A watering can, can also be filled with cleaning solution so that it can be poured onto the spot to clean. A watering can should be devoted strictly to cleaning if cleaning solution is mixed or poured into the can. Cleaning solution may cling to the watering can and can be deadly to plants and animals and harmful or even deadly if the can is used for anything else.
