Add Blade Trilogy to Your DVD Collection

Starring Wesley Snipes (Murder at 1600), Kris Kristofferson (Payback), Jessica Biel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Stephen Doriff (Blood and Wine), the Blade Trilogy offers great supernatural action.

Blade (Snipes) – half man, half immortal takes on hordes of killer vampires, dueling with his sword, guns, and many other cute toys created for him by his trusted friend and partner, Whistler (Kristofferson). Along the way to total victory he reaches out and gets help from people like Whistler’s thought-to-be-dead daughter, Abigail (Biel) and “Nightstalker” Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), and discovers that he cannot fight what he is but in fact must deal with the beast within.

He encounters a barrage of different foes. Deacon Frost (Doriff) is an arrogant and conniving vampire hell-bent on taking over the world for himself. Reinhardt (Perlman) makes himself out to be good only to turn on Blade when he least expects it. Then the original vampire, Dracula (Dominic Purcell) boasts Blade biggest challenge, a creature that morphs from a human in appearance to something a lot more satanic.

Blade, directed by Stephen Norrington (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and written by David S. Goyer (The Puppet Masters) introduces the half-breed vampire-killing machine in all of his comic book glory. Blade battles Deacon Frost, saves a few innocent mortals, and lays waste to hordes of vampires.

The Blade Trilogy may be darker than most are used to. The character of Blade is far less likely to fight for truth, justice and the American way than Bruce Wayne. But all together, the Blade Trilogy is a must have for any DVD collection. What are you waiting for? Go out and pick up your copies of these fun supernatural films.
