The Manor, as residents call it, is located off of Hwy 290 at Eldridge Pkway on the northwest side of town. With one of the most beautiful outdoor areas in Houston and a gorgeous pool, this is a great bargain for your money. Located on Antoinne Dr. between West Little York and Tidwell is the Pepper Tree Manor senior housing complex. This is one of the more unique senior apartments in Houston, with mid-rise and cottage homes and a buffet room with adjacent kitchen. Located inside the Belt near Sam Houston Race Park, Heritage Park is a great place to live if you enjoy playing the ponies every once in a while. They have handicap accessible homes, exterior storage, vertical blinds, ceramic tile floors and ice makers. Houston is certainly known for its oak trees, and Oak Haven is a great place to call home. Located near the Woodlands in Shenandoh, Oak Haven has community gardens, attached garages, no steps or stairs, washer/dryer connections, and gated entry.
