Air Force Chief to Test Weapons on American Public…Wait, What?
“Non-lethal weapons such as high-power microwave devices should be used on American citizens in crowd-control situations before being used on the battlefield, the Air Force secretary said Tuesday.
The object is basically public relations. Domestic use would make it easier to avoid questions from others about possible safety considerations, said Secretary Michael Wynne.”
There are signs of this nation’s decay all over the place. They’re not hard to find. Over time, you just come to accept them. But this is something different all together.
I don’t really care if a weapon is classified as “non-lethal” when it is also classified as a “high-power microwave device”. In case that didn’t sink, let me bust out some capsâÂ?¦HIGH-POWER MICROWAVE DEVICE. What the fuck? Why do I have to hear these things?
When I get frustrated with the country I sometimes think I should stick my head in the microwave. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d have to literally eat those words. Let me ask you, would you rather stick your head in the microwave under your own accord or would you like the government to blast your ass with a high-powered microwave device?
I shudder whenever I hear government and authority types discussing “crowd control” issues. I tend to get flashbacks of this jerk-off at a fake “town hall meeting” that was held a few days after 9/11 on TV. A panel of senators were fielding questions from citizens and all of sudden this jerk gets up and goes, “Umm, what do you guys think about martial law?” I shat my pants that day, and I’m not afraid to admit it.
Crowd control is basically a PC way for our government to say, “Don’t mobilize, and don’t fuck with us. We have methods of subduing you. Shit, we have high-powered microwave ways to subdue you.” I for one am not cool with this shit.
We supposedly live in the Land of the Free, a place where anyone can stand up for what they believe, regardless of what they believe in. But do you honestly think that’s true?
No, it’s not. This is what I know: As long as you keep your mouth shut, pay your taxes and hate terroristsâÂ?¦ your cool. Our government likes you and you can take some kind of solace in that (I guess). But if you disagree with what our government does and start to voice that feeling in public, only bad things will happen to you. If your fellow citizens don’t turn on you first and you somehow become part of a movement, let’s call it a crowd… then our government will blast you with high-powered “non-lethal” weapons.
Good luck.
