Another Program Offered by Spartan College of Areonautics is their Aviation Maintenance Technology. This Program is designed to teach students how to be aviation technicicans. The Program teaches you how to inspect, maintain and repair aircraft. The Program gives you the knowledge and skill required to obtain your FAA Airframe and Powerplant Licenses and also help you gain confidenced required for top performance on the job.
Avioncs Technology, yet another program offered by Spartan College. The avionics programs teach you how to work on radios, navigation systems, radar, flight computers and many more sophisticed systems. This program helps you learn the knowledge and skill required to specialize in aviation elctronics technology. This program is also offered in a degree program which includes general education coruses as well as gyroscopic and mechanical instrument repair and maintance.
One Further Program that Spartan College of Areonatics offers students who wish to attend is Quality Control and Nondestructive Testing. As a Nondestructive Testing Student you develop the knowledge and skill required to perform the sophisticated testing techniques such as x-ray, liquid dye penetrant, magnetic particle testing, and ultrasonic testing required in many different industries. The Quality Control Progam allows technicians to enhance their training and experience with a degree program. In the program you learn about manufacturing processes, metrology, statistics, and total quality management. In Short you will be able to develop ,maintain, and enforce quality control programs. As a Quality Control techician you can find yourself working in many industries like Manufacturing, avaition, nuclear powerplant, contruction, auto and many others.
Spartan College of Areonatics has been around since September 27th 1928. It was founded by W.G. Skelly, President of Skelly Oil Company. He also established spartan aircraft company and formed the corportation which built the Tulsa Municipal Airport (now called Tulsa Internation Airport). Durining World War 2 and the Korean War, Spartan trained thousands of pilots and mechanics for the armed forces while continuing to expand in the civil aviation field.
Spartan College has graduated more then 80,000 technicians and pilots. Spartan Colledge of Aeronautics and Technology, an institution of higher education, is a private technical college offering certificates, diplomas, associated of applied science and bachelors’ degrees to a diverse student population. The practicial hands on training, combined with classrom theory provides students with the skills necessary to begin a successful career and or continue their education. The Federal Aviation Administration approves the Professional Pilot and Aviation Maintenance Technology Programs.
