As Always
Come as you are-
You know it won’t matter with me-
We’ll talk about whatever,
What ever it is that needs saying.
I’ll listen o you-
Haven’t I always?
And if you need to cry-
I’ll hold you close.
And if we get to share some joy-
I’ll get to see your precious smile,
And the laughter in your eyes.
Just come to me as you are-
I’m still here, as I’ve always been before-
Open arms, a shoulder to cry on-
And a heart that’s willing to share-
The burdens, the joys and your secrets-
And think nothing of it-
