At The Chicago Actors Studio, their workshops range from beginner classes introducing the art of acting, to advanced actors who are working in the entertainment industry professionally. The Chicago Actors Studio offers five various acting workshops for actors. Starting with the Master Class – Acting as a Craft. This is a ten week course, which covers every aspect of acting both the outer effects and the inner effects. For the ten week class the rate is $290.00 per student, but they do offer scholarships and internships for the right individuals. They also offer Target Workshops which is an eight-week course for the going rate of $293.00 per student. This course offers a wide variety of skills and techniques to help the actor grow in their craft. Another amazing course is the class entitled, “Audition Power.” This class is for the actor wanting to sharpen their auditioning skills. The going rate for this six week course is $210.00 per student, although if you are enrolled in another class the rate is only $138.00 per student. Another amazing class offered is Directing. This six week course is for the individual who wants to learn more about the techniques and skills of directing. This course is amazing for the actor who is wanting to learn more about the whole process of this industry or for the non-actor who is wanting to be involved in behind the scenes ventures. The going rate for this class is $138.00 per student. And lastly, The Chicago Actors Studio offers Private Acting Lessons for the individual who is wanting to learn in a more intimate setting. This offers the instructor an opportunity to personalize the training to fit the students particular needs. The rate per hour for the Private Acting Lessons is $50.00, but they do offer packages for 5 Weeks of training will be only $175.00 or 10 Weeks will only be $340.00 per student. The Private Acting Lessons are by appointment only.
