There are all types of people working for Habitat for Humanity. Some volunteers are professional construction workers, plumbers, and electricians. Some have no special skills at all and just want to make a difference. All volunteers are welcome.

Future homeowners are required to make a down payment on their Habitat for Humanity home. As their mortgage is paid, the money goes to building more homes.
