Most people are probably concerned with where they are going on their summer vacation, but what about your back to school shopping? A lot of the stores start advertising the back to school sales pretty early. Most start in late July. But what are the best locations to begin your back to school clothes shopping. Of course this will vary greatly depending on where you live. If you live in central New Jersey, the most popular back to school shopping locations are walmart, target, children’s wear, and old navy, to name just a few of the most popular locations. To start with target and walmart usually have the best deals on back to school supplies, like notebooks, pencils and book bags. When it comes to your child’s clothing you first stop should be Old Navy. I would recommend this for anyone who live in New Jersey since there are numerous locations throughout the state.

Old Navy always have great deals on back to school items, but make sure that you start you shopping early during the summer months. If you wait until the week before school like some people tend to do, you will get more stress than you bargained for. First of all of you wait until the very end of summer the stores will be packed, and the deals will be gone. You will end up spending a lot more money then you would have if you started shopping earlier in the season. The same goes for children’s wear, which is a clothing store that caters just to kids. I also find that there is a lot more variety when you start shopping earlier in the season. One thing that most older kids hate is to have the same clothing as their classmates. This is especially true for girls, most boys could care less. That is unless they are teenagers. When children are young they really do not care what they wear as long as it fits well, and matches.

If you do plan on shopping early than make sure you take into consideration that your child may grow over the summer. It is always better to buy at least one size bigger than what your child is now. This way you can ensure that they will be able to wear the clothes you are buying now for at least the first few months of school.
