If you would like to have a room right on the water than the Doubletree Hotel is a great place to stay. It is right on the Clark Fork River and it offers complementary seasonal fly fishing lessons. If you enjoy water activities this hotel is also close to a white water guide/fishing guide, as well as near stores that rent inner-tubes and rafts for floating the many rivers that flow through the city.
