This “God made me special” bible school craft projects requires a digital camera, color printer, photo-quality paper, a canning jar ring and lid, a hot glue gun, a ten-inch long piece of lace, colored construction paper, a black marker, scissors, and a piece of poster board approximately 2 inches by 3 inches.
Begin making this bible school craft project by taking a photo of the first child. Size the photo appropriately so it fits within the canning jar ring. Print the photo, and trace the canning jar lid so the photo fits inside the canning jar ring. Trim the piece of lace if necessary, and glue it around the canning jar ring. Glue the canning jar lid to the interior of the ring, and put a small amount of glue around the edges of the photo. Glue the photo in place within the ring, and allow the glue to dry until it’s sufficiently set. Glue the framed lace-trimmed photo on its side in the center of the 2-inch by 3-inch piece of posterboard. Write the words “God made me special” on a small strip of colored construction paper. Glue the paper to the edge of the posterboard photo stand in front of the photo.
Although you will need to do the gluing since this bible school craft project involves the use of hot glue, this is a wonderful bible school craft project that is great for kids of all ages and skill levels. He Alone is My Rock – Puzzle Plaque
This is a fantastic bible school project if you’re looking for just the right bible school craft projects for your bible school kids. “He alone is my rock” is the theme of this bible school craft project, and it’s a great way to use small leftover puzzle pieces.
For each bible school craft project you will need a 4 �½ inch by 5 �½ inch piece of heavy cardboard cut from a box, about 40 small puzzle pieces, one aluminum pop tab, a hot glue gun, white craft glue, shellac, a paint brush, colored copy paper, decorative edge scissors, and a computer printer or a black fine-tip marker.
Begin this bible school craft project by printing the following bible verse in the center of a sheet of colored copy paper trimmed with decorative edge scissors to a size of about 2 Ã?½ inches by 2 Ã?½ inches. The message should say “He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:2”. Glue the bible verse to the center of the cardboard, and glue the puzzle pieces around the edges to make a frame. After the glue has completely dried, coat the entire plaque with shellac. Allow the shellac to dry, and use hot glue to attach an aluminum pop tab to the back of the plaque for hanging.
Younger bible school kids will enjoy gluing the puzzle pieces to create the frame, and the entire project can be created by the kids attending bible school with the exception of using the hot glue gun to attach the hanger. Have the cardboard and colored copy paper precut to save time.
God is My Light – Switch Plate Cover
This is one of the most fun and easiest bible school craft projects that’s simple for kids of all ages and skill levels. All this bible school craft project requires is a cheap plastic light switch cover and colored permanent markers. You could also provide bible school kids with religious theme stickers. It would be wise to provide small disposable latex gloves to bible school kids so the markers don’t stain their hands, and use caution with younger kids so their clothing doesn’t become permanently stained.
Simply have the kids decorate a light switch plate to go with the theme that sends a message that says God is my light. Have the kids use the markers and stickers to embellish the light switch cover with rainbows, crosses, flowers, hearts, Jesus stickers, or anything related to the love of God. Begin this bible school craft project by choosing a special bible verse to go along with the theme of your bible school lesson, and if the kids are old enough to print, have them print the bible verse on the rock using black permanent markers. For this bible school craft project you will need colored craft feathers, white craft glue, craft eyes, heavy card stock, a pencil, scissors, a hot glue gun, and yellow and brown pipe cleaners.
Begin making this bible school craft project by cutting out the silhouettes of enough birds for every child participating in making bible school craft projects. Supply the kids with enough colored feathers to cover each silhouette, and have them use a different colored feather to create a wing. Trim the feathers if necessary. Have the kids glue a plastic craft eye to each feather-covered bird, and assist with creating beaks and feet with brown and yellow pipe cleaners. Adults can use a hot glue gun to attach the beaks and feet to these very special birds.
