Bissell POWERforce Bagless Upright Vacuum Review

My earnings from AC go towards keeping a roof over my head and food on the table. Sometimes, though, miscellaneous expenses come up, and I have to use some of the money for other things. For example, buying mundane things like a new sweeper. I am excited, though, that it didn’t take much of my earnings to make this purchase, and I got a fabulous deal! Here is my Bissell POWERforce Bagless Upright Vacuum review:

Overview
If you’re in the market for a new sweeper, I have a recommendation: buy the Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum and you won’t be sorry. This sweeper is lightweight- only 16 pounds- and easy to maneuver around your house. Bissell sells basically the same model with a wider head, but this sweeper reaches in tighter spots. Even though the handle and body are made of plastic, don’t be fooled into thinking it can do the job. It’s powerful 12 Amp motor can clean up the messiest of dry messes.

Price and Availability
I paid a mere $49.62 plus tax for this sweeper at my local Wal-Mart. The store had a line of about ten vacuum cleaners from the most expensive models down to the cheapest. This Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum was the third from the cheapest end. That made me wonder about my choice… until I got it home and put it into use.

Since this model features a large capacity, clear dirt cup, it’s not going to cost me the additional expense of paper bags that constantly need replaced. The clear dirt cup allows me to see when it becomes full so I know when to empty it out.

Assembly
The Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum comes pretty much assembled. All you have to do is screw the handle on, attach the hose and put the tools onboard, and you’re ready to sweep your house! The onboard tools include an extension wand, crack and crevice tool, and a brush/upholstery attachment.

Additional Key Features

Height Adjustments
When I shopped for a new sweeper, one of the requirements was several height adjustments. I like the five height adjustments on the Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum because it allows me to go from long shag carpet to short carpet with just quick turns of the adjusable knob.

Three-Stage Filter System
A family with allergies who lives in a house with cats needs a sweeper that can pick up dirt, dust particles and cat fur. Bissell took care of that requirement when they designed the Three-Stage Filter System. There are three foam filters on this vacuum cleaner that collect even the smallest particles. Every month or so, depending on how often you use your sweeper, you need to remove and wash these filters. It’s easy to do, though, and doesn’t take more than ten minutes. I love the idea of being able to wash the filters out and reuse them as opposed to buying replacement paper types every month.

Warranty
The Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum has a limited one year warranty which is pretty much standard. Be sure to keep your sales receipt in a safe place in case you have to contact the company.

Conclusion
Can sweeping your home be fun? It actually is with this vacuum. It’s amusing to see the dirt disappear right in front of my eyes as I run this sweeper over the floors. The Bissell effortlessly sucks up the dirt, dust and cat hair and makes my carpet look cleaner and brighter. Since I have a grandson who crawls on the floor, keeping it as clean as possible is more important than ever. And the Bissell PowerForce Bagless Upright Vacuum makes the task easy, as well as affordable.
