Blockbuster Online is a fast way to get the movies you want, keep them as long as you want, and have the video store wrap itself around your schedule. They have many monthly plans, all designed to save you time and money. For me, Blockbuster Online got me movies faster than Netflix and was a better fit. Since both plans have free trial offers, I’d suggest doing both plans to see which one is a better fit for you before deciding on one or the other.

Blockbuster Online has a special section on the left hand side of the screen where they have highlights. It is here where you can put movies in your queue that are still playing in theatres. This was a huge plus for me because I knew which movies I wanted to see and didn’t know if I would remember what movie was what by the time they come out. There highlight section includes top online rentals where they rate the highest rentals, the new releases, the New to DVD section where the movies are new to dvd but not necessarily new videos, the releasing this week section to let you know what is up and coming, and the In Theatres section.
They have an unlimited movie plan where you can receive as many dvds as possible in the month. They pay postage to send and to receive the movies, so you are only paying for the monthly membership fee. Currently I can get about 15 movies a month with my schedule. This is including the four free movie rental coupons that are included in the membership.
Blockbuster has more than 55,000 titles in their inventory, so you should always find something good to watch. They have many different specialty titles too. I love the new releases and the special health videos they have. Having fitness videos with no return dates and no late fees is a godsend to someone getting back into shape.
