There are two Super 8 motels in the immediate vicinity of O’Hare, and both of them offer free airport shuttles. The Super 8 O’Hare, only two miles from the airport, provides decent accommodations for the price, but the Super 8 O’Hare South, just four miles away, averages $20-25 less per night than its same-brand rival. When we’re already talking about nightly rates under $80, that’s a healthy savings. Though this chain is sometimes seen as a dingier place to stay, both of these locations are tidy, even if unspectacular.
Budget Hotels near O’Hare Airport: Des Plaines Inn and Suites
2175 E. Touhy Ave.
Des Plaines, IL 60018
For folks willing to go with an unfamiliar name, this hotel packs a lot into a low price. I was quoted a one-night rate of only $79 for a summer weeknight stay, for example. Yet they offer wireless internet, a free shuttle to O’Hare, and even a restaurant on site. It’s designed to be an inexpensive option for business travelers; it’s just not as well-known as its competition. Perhaps spending less on advertising is what helps them keep costs low!
Budget Hotels near O’Hare Airport: Ramada Plaza O’Hare

Chicago, IL 60631
A step up from motel to hotel takes you to the Ramada Plaza O’Hare, with the lowest rates hovering around the $100 mark. That still constitutes a budget stay in this particular airport hotel market. Beyond the free shuttle, this 11-story hotel offers a restaurant/bar, data ports, and other nice comforts for the price.
Budget Hotels near O’Hare Airport: Quality Inn O’Hare Airport

A quick trip to and from O’Hare on the looping shuttle (running every 30 minutes), the Quality Inn remains a solid option for people who like the usually consistent Choice Hotels brand. Priced similarly to the Ramada and with many of the same comforts – internet, food on site, etc. – it’s another good deal on the higher end of “budget hotels.”
