Calling All Singers and Actors to Audition for Bat Boy: The Musical!

The Boulder Broadway Company (Located at the Lakewood Cultural Center) is currently producing BAT BOY THE MUSICAL. Written by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keffe, BAT BOY THE MUSICAL is the juicy grocery store tabloid story that has found its way off the page and onto the stage, with hilariously gruesome results.

BAT BOY THE MUSICAL will open at the Lakewood Cultural Center on September 15th, 2006 and will run through Sunday, September 23th.

General Auditions will take place on Friday, June 9th from 5:30pm to 8:45pm and Saturday, June 10th from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Audition slots are 5 minutes per person. Callbacks will be scheduled ASAP.

Auditions will be held at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church located at 1980 Dahlia, Denver, 80220 (off Colorado Boulevard in the City Park area, east of the Denver Museum and Zoo)

Please make sure to arrive at the audition with plenty of time. To save time, you can download the audition form to fill out before the audition.

Please bring your audition form, a headshot/photo (if available), theatrical resume and 32 bars of your audition song in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. No monologue required.

Performance Schedule

Performance dates: September 15-17, 21-23th

Rehearsal schedule: Music rehearsals begin mid-July. Staging rehearsals will begin in August. Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday afternoons.

Tech schedule: Load-in/Tech: September 12th, 1st dress: September 13th, Final Dress: September 14th

Rehearsal location will be determined once the production has been cast. The location will be as convenient as possible for the chosen cast. Rehearsals will be in the downtown Denver or Lakewood area.
