Cape Cod: A Great Educational Escape for Parents and Their Kids

Every year millions of families will escape to Cape Cod with their children. But what is really all the fascination with Cape Cod? Well, one thing that many people enjoy including myself is how beautiful the scenery is. If you travel to Cape Cod in the fall you will definitely avoid the summer rush. And you will definitely get to see some pretty beautiful sights so make sure that you bring your camera along. It is also a very educational area. Did you know, that one of the major roads, which is known as Route 6A was once a stagecoach route. Throughout this part of Cape Cod you will find a lot of history in the New England Architecture. On the north side of Cape Cod you will find homes where all of the former sea captions lives, and some of the nicest and coziest Inns.

If you are not too sure where to stay, believe me you will find a large variety for families off all sizes and ages. They have historic inns, bed and breakfast, resorts, motor lodges, houses, cottages and bungalows. The Cape Codder Resort is definitely a favorite among many of the families that visit this area. They are located on Route 28 in Hyannis, and they offer tons of amenities for families. They have lots of sightseeing trips to Martha’s Vineyard, which many people just love. The one thing that kids just love about this resort is that they have a wave pool, which features two foot waves, two water slides, and waterfalls. They even have a kiddie play area, and two saunas. who could ask for anything more.

A vacation to Cape Cod is really all about the water. Did you know that their beach is ranked on of the top ten best beaches in the United States. They even have expeditions led by a ranger. They offer history programs for kids and the entire family, which is held year round. It really does not matter when you visit Cape Cod, you and your children will definitely learn a lot, and have a great time in the process. Unfortunately we live in a day and age when family is no longer the main focus of most people. If you see that your family is going down this same destructive path, why not put a stop to it and plan an great trip for your family. Even if you only want to try a weekend getaway, isn’t it worth an educational escape for your family. Remember that the best way for kids to learn is by being out in the world itself. Most of the time they will not even know that they are learning anything.
