Cleaning Carpets the Natural Way, Without Chemicals

Carpet cleaners can contain dangerous chemicals and these chemicals can stay in your carpets after they have been cleaned and dried. Just put the baking soda on the spot and pour some vinegar on the baking soda. The spot with bubble and that means it is working to remove the spot. After the bubbling has stopped you can take water and flush the spot. The soak up as much water as you can with a clean towel and let the spot dry completely.

To deodorize a carpet just take equal amounts of borax and corn meal and mix them with half as much baking soda together. Sprinkle the ingredients over the carpet and rub it into the carpet. Let the ingredients sit in the carpet overnight and in the morning vacuum the ingredients out of the carpet.
