Comparison of Google Adsense, Adster, and Yahoo Publisher
You could compare it to Google Adsense of or Yahoo Publisher in the sense that the website is paid to allow ads on his website. It is unlike the Adsense and Yahoo Publisher in that you don’t get ‘paid per click”, but instead are paid a flat rate per day.
Like its predecessors, Adster is free to use for sellers and buyers, unless you want to purchase as space on some ones site. Unlike its predecessors, Adster pays its members the bulk of the advertising fee.
In my personal experience, I have been working with Adsense since January and have made $4.67. I have been using Yahoo publishers since late March and have earned $9.98. Meanwhile, I joined Adster a week ago and my income to date is $3.75. That means I make less than $.25 per week with Adsense, .less than 50 cents per week with Yahoo publisher and $3.50 per week with Adster.
Payout is the other main point of comparison. Adster pays net 60 days. This means 60 days after I accept an ad on my page, I can be paid for it. The minimum payout amount is set at $25.00, but you can lower or raise it at your own discretion. At the rate my money is growing on Google Adsense, I have to wonder if I should not just cancel the account and forfeit my payout. As for Yahoo Publisher, I can expect a check once a year with the information I currently have on the internet. If I were to add a page a day, I might actually see a few checks a year. With the payout rates Adster offers, however, I will put more effort into adding their ads to my pages, and wait to cash out on my other accounts when they are finally at cash-out level.
Adster has few advertisement restrictions. While Google Adsense and Yahoo publisher do not like to share advertising space, Adster does not have these hang-ups. I plan to add affiliate links to specific products to give my pages a little oomph.
Finally, Adster does not compete with the content of your website. As an artist and muralist, I realized I lost more money with Adsense and Yahoo publisher because they offered the same services as I. (This has been altered some). With Adsense, I have the right to review and reject any and all ads before they are placed on m site. I can request that wording be changed, and I can even set how much I want to be paid per day for having the ads on my site.
It looks like Adster is a gem of a revenue building service! I finally feel like getting to work on my content pages!
