Creating a Photo with a Night Vision Effect
The night vision effect can be done in a couple of easy steps. To begin follow the steps below.
1. Open a photo in fireworks that you want to use.
2. Click the image so that it is selected.
3. In your properties window click on Effects > Adjust Color > Hue/Saturation.
4. In the box that popped up enter the following: Hue 130, Saturation 37, Lightness -26, and check the Colorize option. Then click OK.
And that will give your photo a night vision look. See Image 1 for my example.
Creating a Photo with a Crayon Effect
The crayon effect is fun and is easy to do. I like this one to print out pictures of my kids. To begin follow the steps below.
1. Open a photo in fireworks that you want to use.
2. Click the image so that it is selected.
3. In the properties window click Effects > Noise > Add Noise.
4. A dialog box will appear Check the Color option and give the Noise Value of 30. (you can play around with the value to suit your taste)
5. Click OK and your picture will have a crayon effect.

Creating a Frame Around Your Photo
Creating a frame around your photo can give your photo a nice touch. Follow the steps below to add a frame to your photo.
1. Open a photo in fireworks that you want to use.
2. Click the image so that it is selected.
3. In the top window click Commands > Creative > Add Picture Frame.
4. A dialog box will appear. You can select what type of pattern you want to use. There are many patterns. Then select the size of your frame and click OK.
In my example I chose the Blue Wave Pattern and size 20. See Image 3 for my example.
Creating a Photo with a Faded Look
Ever wondered how to easily fade a photo? Follow these simple steps below to fade a photo.
1. Open a photo in fireworks that you want to use.
2. Click the image so that it is selected.
3. In the top window click Commands > Creative > Fade Image.
4. A dialog box will appear, choose the fade option of your choice and click OK.
5. Once you click Ok it will take you back to your photo and you can move the line across your image to get the fade just right.

Creating a Photo With a Bevel Effect
1. Open a photo in fireworks that you want to use.
2. Click the image so that it is selected.
3. In your properties window click Effects > Eye Candy > Bevel Boss.
4. When the dialog box appears click the Basic Options tab and do the following:
Bevel Width – 20
Bevel Height Scale – 50
Smoothness – 90
Inside Marquee
Darken Deep Areas – 0
Shade Interior – Unchecked
5. Now click the Lighting Tab option and do the following:
Highlight Brightness – 80
Highlight Size – 70
6. Now click on the Bevel Profile Tab option and select the cutaround option. Click OK.
This will give your photo an awesome looking effect. See Image 5 for my example.
