The first place that comes to mind would have to be the Jamaica Plain School of Dance.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ Its name says it all.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ The Jamaica Plain School of Dance offers a full range of styles including Ballet (and Pre-Ballet for the little ones), Belly Dancing, Hip Hop, Acro-Jazz and Jazz-Cheer, Tap, and Boys Dance.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ They also offer Pilates and Kick-boxing it it’s a workout you’re looking for with your coordination.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ They’re located right on Amory Street, which is convenient to public transportation via the Orange Line.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ They have a variety of classes every day through out the day.

If you’re looking for something with a little more spice, there is an organization devoted to Latin and Salsa Dancing called “Spontaneous Celebrations”.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ They offer classes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ On Tuesdays and Thursdays two sessions are offered.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ Beginner classes are held from 8:00pm-9:00pm, and Advanced/All Level classes run from 9:00pm-10:00pm.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ On Saturdays there is one class for All Levels from 11:00am-12:00pm.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ Classes are offered in eight week sessions.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ Contact the school for pricing.

For a more casual approach, or if you’re feeling like your ready to strut your stuff for the crowd, a fun alternative is the Salsa Classes offered at “Mango’s” at the Milky Way night club.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ Drop in classes are held every Saturday at 8:30pm.Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½ The classes cost $10.00 each, and they include admission to the night club so you can show off your stuff when you’re through!
