Dieting Made Simple, as God Intended
Are your diet rules too difficult to follow? Are you spending too much time in the supermarket reading food labels? Do you spend time obsessing over, calories, grams, and points? If you want a diet plan that you will be able to follow forever, a plan that is a no-brainer, then “God’s Diet” is for you.
The book “God’s Diet” has the simplest diet plan to date!
When I picked up the book “God’s Diet” by Dorothy Gault-McNemee a few days ago, little did I know it would be the answer to everything I had prayed for in a diet plan. I have been on diet pills for the past year and a half only to get less healthy because I was tired of struggling with diet rules, and regulations. When I did try to follow a diet, I would become obsessive with digesting the guidelines and eventually give up because it was too hard. I would spend hours reading packages in the supermarket only to leave with junk food because I had been in the store so long I got hungry. However, with the help of this book, I may never have to read another label and food choices can be made instantaneously.
“God’s Diet” is about more than simply losing weight!
This book is about more than losing weight. Dr. Dorothy, as her patients affectionately call her demonstrates through the case studies in the book that this diet is more about health. Patients with lupus have had the disease go into remission, chronic migraines have ceased, and PMS, and high cholesterol problems have been eliminated.
“God’s diet” is not a book for Christians only.
For the non-religious population, do not let the books titles, “God’s Diet” keep you from buying and reading the book. It is hardly indoctrination to Christianity. It just lays very simple guidelines for eating. Basically “If God did not make it, don’t eat it”. In other words, if it does not occur in nature, do not put it in your mouth.
This simple diet recommends simple foods
The diet detailed in this book allows Meat, poultry, seafood, whole grain wheat, brown rice, natural oils and fats, fruits and vegetables. If that is too much to remember, all you need to know is that you should never eat processed foods. Processed sugar, white flour, corn syrup, and ingredients that cannot be pronounced should not go in your body. Period.
The book on simple dieting is short and sweet. Read it.
“God’s Diet” was originally published in 1995, with the version I have (from the library) having been published in 1999. The latest version has only 144 pages and was written in the year 2000. The book can be found from $4 – $12. Even the process of reading this book is simple. The first three chapters describe the diet, the fourth chapter has case studies, the fifth has sample meal plans and the sixth and longest chapter has recipes. The final chapter gives a few extra tips.
Therefore, if you want a new approach to dieting that you is simple to understand, and easy to execute, take a few hours and read this book. Your time will be well spent.
