Difficult Questions You Must Ask Yourself
Journey to Salvation allows the reader to challenge the roots of their core spiritual beliefs. In describing the Apostasy (abandonment of one’s religion) of the Last Days, Apostle Paul said men would be “always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.” (2 Tim. 3:7). How true! Sometimes gaining knowledge can make it difficult to filter the simple truth. Journey to Salvation forces one to delve deep within his or her self in order to find the origin of their spiritual belief. Are you spiritual beliefs based on truth or lies?
What is truth? Jesus said, “Everyone who is of the Truth [who is a friend of the Truth, who belongs to the Truth] hears and listens to My voice.” (John 18:37). There are people who believe that Christianity is not the only way to eternal salvation, rejecting out right the Bible and Jesus. Why is this so? Why does one believe that there is no God? Why does one reject shun Him and reject His Word? The world is so accepting of historical documents on ancient civilizations (Greek, Romans, and Egyptians) that the information is included in school text books. Yet for some strange reason, the Bible, which has supporting archaeological and historical data, is held to a different standard. The Bible has been dissected and held under a magnifying glass, and still has successfully been proven true.
Ignoring the truth of the Bible makes it easier to validate one’s immoral behavior. After all, how dare God tell you how you should live by imposing rules and commandments on your life? As we live in these terror filled days, one must humble themselves and heed the Word of God. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. However, if one has the will to read the most incredible and amazing book in history, comfort and security will follow you all the days of your life. More than ever, we need to build our lives upon the Bible because we know what is coming. God has warned us as to what is to come. Journey to Salvation will guide you along the path in your search for Christ. If you do not believe in the salvation of Christ, I challenge you to give yourself the opportunity to read the evidence, go through the exercises and honestly ask yourself, “Why don’t I believe?” The results may surprise you. What do you have to lose?
“So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34
