Dorothy the Dinosaur’s Dance Party

For preschoolers all over America, too much of The Wiggles is never enough. The Wiggles’ live shows are incredible, but with a schedule that takes them all over the world, they often can’t find time to meet all of their little fans.

The Wiggles have made it easier for everyone to join in the fun by sending Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog out on the road for their very own show.

“Dorothy the Dinosaur’s Dance Party” is an hour-long show, packed with every child’s favorite Wiggles’ songs. You’ll hear Rockabye Your Bear, Fruit Salad, Hot Potato, and Captain Feathersword Fell Asleep (Quack Quack), just to name a few.

The hosts of the show – seasoned Wiggly Dancers – sing and dance while Dorothy, Wags, Captain Feathersword, and Henry groove along. Don’t forget to bring along roses for Dorothy and a bone for Wags.

This show is touring the US for most of 2006. With such a large touring schedule, Dorothy the Dinosaur’s Dance Party is coming to large and small cities alike, making it easier for little fans everywhere to join in the fun.

Dorothy, Wags, Henry and the Captain are so lively that after a couple of songs, kids barely notice that Greg, Jeff, Anthony, and Murray aren’t around.

Colleen, from New Jersey, recently took her niece, Maggie, age five and her nephews, Shane, seven, and Brendan, two, to see the show at The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. The children are big fans of The Wiggles, but Colleen was not worried about them being disappointed.

When asked about the experience, Colleen had the following to say: “I told the kids beforehand that The Wiggles wouldn’t be there, but The Captain, Dorothy, Henry and Wags and two of the Wiggles’ friends would be there.”

Colleen goes on to say, “I think they were still hoping that Greg or Murray might be there when the show started, but once the first song began to play they all jumped out of their seats and started dancing. They didn’t stop until the show was over.”

The excitement didn’t stop there. “On the car ride home, not only did they talk about The Wiggles’ characters, but they talked about how much they love Brett and Simon (the hosts),” she adds.

The Wiggles have created something special with their music, their personalities, and the message they send. Even when Greg, Jeff, Murray, and Anthony can’t be there, they ensure their magic will be. Pack the kids in the car for a wonderful afternoon with The Wiggles’ friends and feel the magic for yourself.
