The animals are well trained and safe, and the instructors are patient, kind, and experienced. They will work with riders of every level of experience, including those with none at all. The most important thing is developing a love for what you are doing, and a love for the animal that you are riding.

They specialize in trail riding, western, and English styles. This is a riding and a training facility, with the necessary round pens to get familiar with the horses, as well as an indoor and outdoor arena. Trail riding will take you through some beautiful country, near rivers and through forests. Horse boarding for any breed is also welcomed here, if you get completely hooked, but understandably can’t fit a horse into your apartmentâÂ?¦

This is one of the closest stables you’ll find to Seattle, just a few minutes north in the neighboring town of Bothell. It is a large, full service stable, that provides boarding, training, and instruction. There are outdoor pastures, as well as a full sized arena for riding, training, and longing. Professional horsewoman Sheryl Butler trains all students, and works with any level. Under her guidance, you will quickly become comfortable with the animals, or broaden the skills that you already have. She also instructs dressage and jumping. The tack is English style, and the breeds of horses at the stable include Appaloosa, Arab, Quarter Horse, and Thoroughbred. You’ll enjoy learning to ride in the beautiful North Seattle countryside, and still be less than 15 minutes or so from home.
