Fruit Punch for a Baby Shower
Next you can start slicing your orange. These slices will be your wheels for your baby basket or carriage. Using several toothpicks pin the orange slices in the appropriate places. If you do not want to use the oranges as wheels you can just use them for decoration by sticking them wherever you would like around the watermelon. Next you will begin to make your punch. Using a blender combine the watermelon that you previously scooped out, the strawberry’s, the orange juice, and the fruit punch soda. Blend on high for about 5 min, or until smooth. Then pour the mixture into the watermelon, but do not fill to the rim. Make sure you have at least a gallon or less left over to refill the watermelon when needed.
Last but certainly not least make sure you set up your watermelon on a nice platter. You may want to decorate the platter will some lace to make it look perfect. Also make sure you provide a large spoon or ladle so that they can scoop out their punch. This will look beautiful on your baby shower food table and your guest’s are sure to love it. This is also a great project to include your chilren in, why not let them join you in the fun.
