If you are interested in GED testing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania there are many options in Pittsburgh. There are three testing centers in the Pittsburgh area/surrounding area. There’s a GED testing center at CCAC in Downtown Pittsburgh on 625 Stanwix Street, 11th Floor. Call 412-394-6989 for registration information. Before taking the GED tests, it is recommended that you brush up your skills by taking a class. The test is fairly difficult, especially the math section, which includes algebra and geometry, and the writing section, which requires that you compose an essay.

In 2004 the Pittsburgh Public Schools closed their GED classes, which were located at Connelley Technical Institute. To replace those programs Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council (GPLC) opened its Downtown Center at 411 Seventh Avenue, Suite 525. The phone number there is 412-393-7600. GPLC is the largest provider of adult education and GED preparation in the city.
