Most of the time, if you bought a kit to put up your gazebo, you can order a pre-cut and pre-sewn replacement cover for the roof. These are easy to install because they were made for your particular frame. They may or may not come with the installation clips and ties required, but they will come sewn with grommets or other sturdy attaching configurations.

Their are many fabrics that manufacturers use to make gazebo roofs. Among the top types used are Dacron/Polyester, Canvas, Shading Material and a registered brand called Sunbrella�® and something called Phifertex�® fabric.
Dacron/Polyester is a man made material that is both weather resistant and will last for several years with care. These come in many colors, usually solid colors. Shading Material or ShadeCloth has also become very popular. This is a fabric that lightweight, durable, weather resistant and works great for shading your area as well as ventilating it.
