Unfortunately, there are not as many German Restaurants in Manhattan as there were in the past. This does not mean that you cannot find one. The ones listed here serve traditional German food at reasonable prices, It is well worth it to take the train to ger to one ,if you have to. One of the greatest adventures in Manhattan is to explore and find a new restaurant. However, sometimes it is nice to know where you are going. Especially if you are new to the city or if going to be in a specific neighborhood, like a certain cuisine and want to make sure you will find it..
