Get Tickets for Your Favorite Late Night Television Show

Are you one of millions who stay up past the bedtime of most folks just to hear Jay Leno’s monologue each night? Do you yawn, stretch and then grab another drink laced with caffeine to keep you awake for Late Night with Conan O’Brien? Are you yearning to be part of the studio audience of either The Tonight Show with Jay Leno or Late Night with Conan O’Brien? Look no further, here’s how to get tickets to your favorite late night talk show.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Getting tickets for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno requires a little old-fashioned letter writing and a couple stamps. NBC has made it quick, easy, painless and thoroughly non-technological. However, getting tickets does take some planning. Write your letter six weeks in advance. So get out the calendar and figure out what days you want to attend a taping.

Things you’ll need: Pen, paper, 2 envelopes, and 2 stamps. Now you’re ready to request tickets for The Tonight show.

Take pen in hand and write a brief note to NBC requesting tickets. You can ask for up to four, so bring a friend or three. Leno can get a bit off color at times, so you must be at least 16 years old to attend. Take a look at your calendar and put in your letter at least three days you are interested in attending the show. The Tonight Show accepts requests on a first come, first serve basis, so be aware that submitting a request does not guarantee you tickets. If you’re one of the lucky ones and seats are available, your tickets will be mailed off to you 2-3 weeks in advance of the show date in the self-addressed stamped envelope you sent along with the letter of request. To boil this process down to the bones:
1.If you’re under age 16 don’t bother trying to get tickets.
2.Write a quick letter requesting up to 4 tickets 6 weeks in advance
3.Include in the letter at least 3 different days you can attend and an SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope)

If you have a specific show you wish to attend, you must go to the NBC ticket booth in Burbank, California on the day of the specified show to request 2 tickets. It’s first come, first serve so be prepared to be in line at 8am.

For now, though, you can request a ticket or two for Late Night with Conan O’Brien with one quick phone call.

Call the NBC ticket office at (212)664-3056. Tell the friendly representative that you’d like 4 tickets and promise on the life of your remote control that not one person is under 16 years of age. Now here’s an important fact to remember: You cannot book tickets more than once within a 6 month period which includes no attending with a group if you’ve all ready been to a show within the allotted time period which isâÂ?¦ 6 months.

You can get 1 and only 1 standby ticket by stopping under the NBC Studio’s marquee on 49th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Be there before 9 am on the day of the taping. Remember though, just because you’re given a standby ticket, a seat in the studio is not guaranteed. It’s still a crapshoot.
