Global Warming: What Can I Do??

If you’re the average American like me the hot topic of discussion lately is global warming. I believe this is going to be the most debated and controversial topic in the 2008 presidential campaign but what’s the real truth and who can we believe?? The democrats tend to believe global warming is a more important issue to the American public than the republicans do. Most Americans believe that global warming is occurring but to what extent it is destroying our planet and the major factors causing global warming is what is going to divide the nation in the 2008 political race. So in order to cast our vote for the person we believe most appropriately represents what we think our nation needs for the next four years who do we believe??

An inconvenient truth narrated by former vice president Al Gore, is the democratic look into why they believe global warming is occurring. The film displays though many exhilarating and tragic pictures, graphs, and statistical evidence that humans are killing the planet through pollution. While some of the positions taken in the movie seem exaggerated for Hollywood it definitely opens your eyes to the problems the planet faces if humans continues on their current destructive path. I began to question what I could do to help the state of the planet. Through research I gathered a list of the common everyday ideas to help me do my part in fighting global warming.
