Ravenaux’s Country Club, located at 9415 Cypresswood Drive, offers a staff of PGA-certified teaching pros whose students have become nationally-ranked amateurs as well as several who have gone to the Pro Tour. Students here have lots of opportunity for practice and improvement for their golf game with a warm-up range and a chipping and pitching area. Lesson packages are available to suit just about anyone’s needs.
Lessons offered here range from individual lessons, ranging in time from 30-45 minutes, with one on one instruction with the head golf professional to a yearlong total package instruction. The 30-45 minute, one on one instruction with the head golf professional costs $50 if the student is a member of the country club or $60 for non-members. One on one instruction with an assistant golf professional will cost $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Individual lessons with digital video, which is the latest in digital video swing analysis, with instruction from the head golf professional will cost $60 for members and $75 for non-members or $50 – $60 with assistant golf professionals. An equipment evaluation lesson will cost $50 per member or $60 per non-member with the head golf professional or $40-$50 for assistant golf professional. An equipment evaluation lesson is a combination lesson/club fitting which allows the student to learn if their equipment is the correct fit for them. An incorrect fit could be responsible for major swing problems. The cost of lesson series with the head golf professional is three lessons for $125 ($150 for non-members) or six lessons for $250 ($300 for non-members). The cost of lesson series with assistant golf professionals is $100 ($125 for non-members) for three lessons and $200 ($250 for non-members) for six lessons. Lesson series with digital video is also available. Three lessons with the head golf professional is $150 ($175 for non-members) or 6 lessons for $300 ($350 for non-members). This same package is available with assistant golf professionals for $125 ($150 for non-members) for three lessons and $250 ($300 for non-members) for 6 lessons.
This country club also offers a total game improvement program. This program is designed for the golfer who intends to regularly schedule lessons throughout the month or year. This program offers unlimited daily lessons as well as digital video analysis, equipment evaluation and fitting and of course, lessons. This package is available in 2 month, 3 month or 1 year packages and can be with the head golf professional or with the assistant golf professional. Rates for these lessons are $500 ($600) for 2 months with the head golf professional or $375 ($450) with an assistant golf professional. 3 months of total game improvement can be purchased for $700 ($850) with the head golf professional or $525 ($675). A one-year program can be purchased for $2500 ($3500) with the head golf professional or $2000 ($3000) with an assistant golf professional.

Hermann Park Golf Course, located at 2155 N. MacGregor, is another location that offers golf lessons. Students here can expect 1 lesson to cost $45 while 3 lessons will cost $120. Range fees costs from $9 to $5 depending on the size of bucket desired. Green fees will also have to be paid.
