Once the dealership was visited, and a pick up truck was purchased, the letters from the salesman started coming in the mail. The correspondence started out as “Hi I’m John Doe, the salesman you bought your pickup at Graham’s from, thanking you for your purchase…” to “Hi! It’s John Doe again, reminding you to come see me for your next vehicle purchase!” The letters were rather annoying. Maybe the salesman was new and this was his way of rounding up customers, especially repeat customers. Maybe he was just a nagger. Whatever the case, after the first couple of letters, I began to dread checking my mail box for the next many months until they finally quit coming.
