Group Halloween Costume Ideas
All The President’s Men
Ok, so presidents are just crying out to be copied for costumes at Halloween. Their masks are easy to find at any Halloween costume store and many presidents have some tell tale feature or habit that just makes them immediately recognizable. I have two ideas for group Halloween costumes that center around present and past presidents.
1. Why not have every member of your group dress up like a different president. For Nixon you can always find a mask readily available. Add a cigar and a suit and you are ready. You could even take an old tape and pull the insides out and hang them all over you. Regan masks are widely available as well. Lincoln is easy to d with a black suit and tall black hat. Take a piece of long paper, lightly burn the edges with a match or lighter to make it look old. Roll it up like a scroll and write some famous Lincoln quotes on it. Maybe even some fun Lincoln facts. This is a great conversation starter at a party.
2. The president and his secret service is another great presidential group Halloween costume. Why not wear a George Bush Junior mask, carry a piece of glass with a little baking powder set up in lines, and sprinkle a little eon your suit. You secret service can be dressed in black suits and black ties with white shirts. They can huddle around you while you pretend to make use of your mirror and “powder.”
Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke
This costume would work well for a group of three. It doesn’t matter how many members of the group are girls and guys. Let the guy be Daisy for r a little fun! If you have a forth or fifth you could add in Uncle Jessy or Roscoe P. Coltrain. The possibilities are endless. Visit www.tv.com and search for the original Dukes of Hazard television show to get the costumes down pat. Visit www.dukesofhazzard.warnerbros.com for the movie version of these American icons. The look is similar, but updated crazy country.
Chris Angel Mindfreak and Paid Friends
This guy is taking over America. Even the movies lately are all about magicians. He is an easy guy to copy with a black shaggy wig and some black eyeliner. Make sure you talk in an obvious New York accent. The paid friends should dress really trendy and be prepared with lines that all center around how truly amazed they are. Throw in some silly magic tricks that are obvious fakes for a little fun. You can find picture of him online at www.aetv.com. They also list schedule show times and background information that would be helpful to creating a realistic costume.
Harley Davidson Biker Gang
This is an easy Halloween costume to pull off with a group of friends. I always see lots of fake leather biker stuff at the Halloween costume stores like Halloween Express. Load up on this stuff, use your real stuff, or even just cut the sleeves off of some et-shirts. Put on some fake tattoos, mustaches and beards and you have it made. Small touches will really make this look. Don’t’ forget hats, longhaired wigs, and black sunglasses.
